Our Beliefs
That the Holy Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God to mankind (II Tim. 3:15-17; Rom. 15:4).
That God has revealed Himself in three different persons which we call the Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) (John 10:30; Matt. 28:19).
That salvation is the gift of God upon a person’s repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as the resurrected Son of God (Eph. 2:8, 9; Rom. 10:9, 10).
That atonement was made for the sins of the world in the death of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s cross (John 1:29; Heb. 9;12), according to the plan of the Father (I Cor. 8:6; Matt. 26:39).
That this church is part of the Body of Christ universal and the only ordinances to be observed are communion and baptism by immersion (Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:4; Matt. 26:26-29).
That the filling of the Holy Spirit, and purity of heart and life are essential to communion with our holy God (Matt. 5:8; I Pet. 1:15-16, Eph. 5:18).
That immortality is to be bestowed ONLY upon them who shall be heirs of salvation (Cor. 15:51-54); John 3:16; I John 5:12).
That all the dead are in a state of unconsciousness until the resurrection takes place (Ps. 6:5; John 5:28-29; Ps. 146:4-5; Eccl. 9:5-6; Ezk. 18:4-20; Job 14:21).
That the literal and personal second advent of Christ will usher in the day of divine judgment (Acts 1:11; Rev. 20:12; Rev. 1:7; John 14:3; Job 19:23-25).
That those rejecting Jesus Christ shall be punished with “everlasting destruction” (Mal. 4:1-3; II Thess. 1:7-10; Ps. 37:20-38; Matt. 13:11-12).
That the earth, redeemed, restored, and glorified will be the eternal home of the saints (Matt. 5:5; II Pet. 3:13; Rev. 21:1-3; Ps. 37:11).
